Everyone keeps asking what we're up to and why we don't post on forums or Facebook that much. The reality is every minute we're posting is a free minute not spent innovating or testing and when you out do the competition, it makes it even harder to out do yourself. Which is why sometimes the need for 18 external sensors and 30+ MHD channels are needed to bring the N54/55 to the next level. Let's just say 2018 is going to be a great year! ... See MoreSee Less

Filler neck removed! That was melted from a previous kit. This car is just our test bed for all things n54 and not really a show piece or racecar. At least for right now anyways

On our white 135i I remove the washer reservoir and neck all together. Cleaned it up quite a bit. EGT data per cylinder sounds fun to monitor, I'll be curious to see what that data shows. Would be good to compare cyl1 using Fuel-IT vs. say Motive PI rails too to see if the cyl1 differences in the kits amount to much.

What's the point of this?

LoL least ADE kit comes with upgraded heat shields πŸ˜‚πŸ‘‹πŸΎπŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

I like the comments about the melted washer res tube and routing it different...as though this bay wasn’t one of the first to see a top mount in the n54 scene. Which has now obviously been refitted with Motiv’s bottom mount.

Chris Kontos This is your car for sure, I can tell πŸ˜‰

You know your engine is special when it serves as an engineering exercise for the successor to the S54. #iabsolutelyhavealifeoutsidecarsandmotorcycles

That melted tube tho lol

Alex Kallin that individual EGT. Really clean into a machined manifold.

Wtf is all burnt up and gooey on the top left of the picture πŸ‘€

You should re route your filler up through the wheel well and into the scuttle panel drain

Chris Kontos what kind of Temps are you seeing with the egt probes

Don't lift a head, you'll most likely be buying a turbo.

Finally per cylinder EGT. Looking forward to seeing what your up to.

Robert Escamilla does this look 700lhp or what

It will be a great year. We are going to finally break fuel caps on the B58

Jake Hershorin any plans for a black friday sale on built motors?

"N54/N55" 😍

Anthony Chaghlassian so much room!

We had an absolute blast at WannaGOFAST VA...and boy did we go fast.

It was exciting to get to chat with the owner of the event and hear how passionate they are about standardizing these events.

All WGF events are cone to cone half miles. You are not permitted to start anywhere but at the tree, which is at the start cone if you want the timing equipment active. Really really really happy about that and hope it catches on so East vs West coast can start to compare.

Saturday - YUCK! No better way to describe it. The fog limited us to 10ft of visibility and was only releived during the massive downpours. WGF called the event off around noon.

Sunday - GAME ON!!!

We set out on this venture running the exact same tune that we posted about when it made 870whp. The only difference? A density altitude (DA) of 5500 feet above sea level. We were determined to "run what we brung". Our shop e90 with roll cage, full back seats, and the only weight savings being Sparco Evo2 so we could run proper 6pt harnesses.

We couldn't be happier with our first real outting at one of these events. We trapped 172.4 mph from a dig. No extra distance before the start. No rolling start before the cone to cone half mile. We lined up at the tree, eased into first (stock axles heh) and then got on it as hard as possible. In exactly one half mile we were able to go 172.4mph and boy was it fun. It seemed everyone was down 6-7mph according to WGF but instead of bench racing calculations we have signed up for the WGF event in Ocala FL at sea level. We will turn up the boost, add some aero to the car so it isn't as floaty up top, grab some DSS axles, and hope to acheive the MPH goal we have set for ourselves.

172 was sketchy enough driving, we'll need to make some good changes to the car as well. It was a very good shake down weekend for sure. We'll have a lot more to lay down come October πŸ˜‰

And the 135 Racecar did 165.6 at 18 psi of boost. Had trouble with the 1-2 shift on the sequential at wot since it is not something we have really tuned on the racetrack before and the higher boost maps only uncovered a HPFP needing to be replaced. Do some tuning.....replace some parts and see what Florida brings.

172mph in a 1/2 mile is moving! Congrats! Hope to smoke it next time we get our white 135i out to an event. πŸ™‚

That's moving! Maybe I'll see you guys in Ocala

Told you the axles would be fine.

That's good mph at sea level.

No slips, videos, logs... anything? lol

What hood is that?

Very nice MPH! Still 3.08 FD?

Congrats

Awesome Motiv !! Will come see you guys run in Ocala , only 3.5 hours for me. Note there a big dip. Towards end of runway

Look forward to seeing the progress you guys make at each event

Ricky Fred, you can stay at my place in Lake City for the Ocala event.

What are you doing for Aero upgrades?

Sweeeet

Nice work!

Congrats guys

Que manera de carro esto es un chuzo

Nice job!
